Mojarto - An NDTV Venture Pankaj Mullick: Facing Social Issues In A Non-Confrontational Manner

I work on Digital art which is mostly done through photo manipulation. I used to be an amateur photographer, I still do some photography. I was also drawn deeply into surrealist artwork. My work is about communicating social issues, but not in a very confrontational manner. It might take some people a little explanation to make the connection between the social issue that the artwork is talking about or they might fathom it from the title of the artwork. This artwork (shown in the video) is called "empty women" and it speaks of consumerism, vanity, superficial, cosmetic and appearance being far more important to people than substance.
