Stink is a big problem for hockey players, it's become a part of the culture, but there is a way to treat it. In this video I show you how to clean your hockey equipment so it doesn't stink!
I left my hockey bag in the garage all summer and when I took it out it was covered in mold. It looks bad, but it's easy to treat. Just pre-treat the mold with an oxygen bleach, then put it in the wash machine on a gentle setting for a long load with regular detergent. I easily got the mold out of my hockey equipment.
How often should you wash your hockey equipment?
I recommend washing your hockey equipment every month or so, but wash your jerseys, socks and under armour every week or two
